Swiss Life Investment Foundation: Opening of the investment group “Commercial Real Estate Switzerland” and the investment groups “Global infrastructure”

  • Opening of the “Commercial Real Estate Switzerland” investment group of up to approximately CHF 250 million.
  • Second opening of the “Infrastructure Global (CHF hedged)” and “Infrastructure Global (EUR)” investment groups, which were successfully launched in May 2021 with a subscription volume of around CHF 200 million.
  • Swiss employee benefits institutions will have an attractive opportunity to invest in high-quality Swiss commercial properties as well as access to a broadly diversified portfolio of infrastructure investments in Europe and North America.

Amendments to investment guidelines as of 1 January 2022
The investment guidelines of the Equities Global ESG, Real Estate Europe Industry and Logistics ESG (EUR) and Real Estate Europe Industry and Logistics ESG investment groups (CHF) were amended as of 1 January 2022.

Change of name for Real Estate Europe Industry and Logistics ESG (CHF) / (EUR)
The prospectuses were amended as of 1 January 2022. Various ESG-related adjustments have been integrated, which allowed us to change the names of the investment groups to Real Estate Europe Industry and Logistics ESG (EUR) and Real Estate Europe Industry and Logistics ESG (CHF).

3. November 2021

On 30 November 2021, the Swiss Life Investment Foundation will launch the investment group "Equities Global ESG." This new investment group pursues a dedicated ESG strategy with "impact" elements to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. We are convinced that this investment group – which Swiss Life Asset Management Ltd, as mandated asset manager, manages consistently and actively in accordance with a responsible investment approach – will complement our offering in the equity area.

Successful opening of the Real Estate Switzerland and Commercial Real Estate Switzerland investment groups and launch of the Infrastructure Global investment groups

The opening of the Real Estate Switzerland and Commercial Real Estate Switzerland investment groups attracted a lot of interest from investors and was oversubscribed several times over. The two newly launched Infrastructure Global investment groups (in EUR and currency-hedged in CHF) also met with a very pleasing response, with around CHF 200 million in capital commitments from investors. These investment groups are managed with a focus on renewable energy investments while also taking ESG factors into account. Moreover, they have been classified under the new BVV 2 “infrastructure investments” category.

Successful launch of the new investment solution for European industrial and logistics and acquisition of three high-quality properties

Anbei finden Sie die Medienmitteilung zur erfolgreichen Lancierung der neuen Anlagelösung für europäische Industrie- und Logistikimmobilien. Aus dem Kreis unserer Anleger können wir insgesamt ein Zeichnungs-volumen von rund CHF 140 Mio. für die beiden Anlagegruppen «Immobilien Europa Industrie und Logistik» mit Referenzwährung in EUR und mit Währungsabsicherung in CHF verzeichnen. Die mit der  Vermögens-verwaltung beauftragte BEOS AG konnte somit wie angekündigt ein Startportfolio von drei hochwertigen Liegenschaften akquirieren. Weitere Akquisitionen mit einer vielversprechenden Pipeline angebundener Neubauprojekte sind in absehbarer Zeit geplant. Aufgrund der positiven Resonanz gehen wir von weiteren Kapitalzusagemöglichkeiten im ersten Halbjahr 2021 aus.

Swiss Life übernimmt vom Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund das Einkaufszentrum Glatt im Rahmen ihrer Tätigkeiten im Asset Management für Drittkunden. Die neue Miteigentümergemeinschaft Glattzentrum besteht aus fünf etablierten Anlagegefässen, welche von Swiss Life Asset Managers betreut werden.
Die Anlagestiftung Swiss Life verfügt über die Anlagegruppen «Immobilien Schweiz» und «Geschäftsimmobilien Schweiz» über einen Anteil von rund zwei Dritteln am Glattzentrum. Damit erhalten die Anleger Zugang zu einem einzigartigen Anlageobjekt mit attraktivem Rendite-Risiko-Verhältnis.
