Even if current relocation data and statistics on internal migration suggest that the dynamics of relocation from the cities have increased slightly, ghost cities are by no means to be expected. The decline in yields in the major centres shows that the cities will also remain attractive to investors. This trend will continue in 2022.

Demand for real estate investments in Europe continues unabated, causing price developments to diverge
increasingly from fundamental data developments. Investment markets are characterised by a shortage of good quality assets, as most investors are looking for this high quality. 
Real estate investments will have higher investment and management requirements given structural changes, ESG requirements and possible regulations.
