Marius Würgler to become Head of Sales & Marketing at Swiss Life Asset Managers

Marius Würgler will take on the function of Head of  Sales & Marketing at Swiss Life Asset Managers as of  1 January 2019. In this newly created position he will  be charged with the continuing development and implementation of the cross-border distribution strategy.  He will become a member of the Executive Committee of Swiss Life Asset Managers and report to Stefan Mächler, Group CIO Swiss Life. He is based in Zurich.

Marius Würgler has headed Amundi Suisse SA since 2017 as its CEO. Prior to that period he spent three years as Head of Sales Europe and Switzerland for Lombard Odier Investment Management and seven years as Country Head at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in Switzerland. He began his career as Portfolio Manager Balanced Portfolios at Credit Suisse Asset Management. He has a degree in economics from the University of Bern.
