On 13 November 2014, Swiss Life Asset Managers was awarded the distinction of being the most dynamic foreign asset management company in France. This award is in recognition of the professionalism and dynamism of the foreign management companies present in France, in particular their investment offering, market positioning, growth and development.
Swiss Life Asset Managers saw off the challenge of M&G and Fidelity to win the Trophée 2014.
Methodology
The shortlist made by Option Finance and Deloitte was based on a rigorous selection methodology. First of all, an initial pre-selection was performed involving the 60 management companies in France owned by a non-French shareholder. The companies come from the annual edition of "sociétés de gestion qui comptent" (an index of major asset management companies) published by Funds Magazine and Option Finance. Each company must then complete a questionnaire, which is analysed by the jury and editorial committee of Option Finance and Funds Magazine. The jury comprises professionals, institutional sector representatives, consultants, IFAs and sector associations. The jury may also request additional information and consider client testimony to rate the companies and choose the winner.
This award is a vote for our approach in France, which is based on Swiss Life values and customer orientation, the quality of the teams and our financial and commercial performances, despite a difficult environment in France.
