With record levels of inflation, central banks no longer have a choice and have all largely started to normalise. Rate increases have begun or are at least widely anticipated. At the same time, uncertainties are rising, particularly in the Eurozone, with central banks less present, Russian threats of gas cuts and political instability, particularly in Italy and the UK.
